I was looking for something that would keep my hands warm. I was not concerned with the thickness. I would not call these gloves cold weather gloves, but rather cool weather gloves. I still like the gloves because they are thin and still fairly warm (ideal for shooting without taking the off), but don't make the mistake of buying them for "cold weather".
