   For an amount For amount of the money, Sica garments cost you think they could make them where they don’t stink, I like the functionality and the quality of the workmanship and the warmth. but I’ve watched it three times and I cannot get this foul smelling chemical smell. I’ve either even had people comment how bad it smells. I’m not sure what it is. I’m gonna try one more time to wash it in outdoor clothing wash . and see if that can take away the smell. I would not buy again.

   Let me start with just this individual product. The sleeves are tight and super long. They designed it that was to flip over your hand like a glove. Unfortunately it slides under layers up and bunches them. Next they have a mask attached to the hoodie. Good concept until you realize it’s not providing any warmth and really just getting in the way. In most situations you’d want to layer this and wear other gloves or mask so this just seems like something that’s going to be annoying for most people. Lastly it’s really not providing much difference in temperature and i think you’d be way better off buying actual 90% or more merino wool base layers and skip this.
   
   Next is the customer service. I ordered multiple items from them and half were canceled after 5 days. I wanted bottoms to go with this too and they told me sorry we sold out after a week of waiting. They then told me if I wanted to return the rest of the order that I haven’t gotten yet I could wait for it and then pay 40 bucks to ship it back to them… I know it’s the busy season but even now the items I ordered that they said were sold out are still available on their website so if you go to order it you can wait a week for them to cancel it on you. I even offered to wait for a restock whenever that may be instead of canceling and they said there is no restock date… how is that possible idk. Anyway I ordered from first lite and won’t be doing business with SITKA anymore.

   I love Sitka gear, but this hoodie had big quality issues. I've wore it one weekend and haven't washed it yet and it's already fraying elastic at the cuffs, which I'm guessing will be completely drayed after one or two washes. It pilled up on the right chest almost immediately (the left side has some sort of finish on it which prevents pilling I suppose). In any case for this price and it being Sitka, you'd absolutely expect more. I'd wait to purchase this until they fix this issue.
